Dr. Kumar specializes in medical and surgical treatment of disorders related to ear, nose, throat and neck. He completed a fellowship in sleep and endocrine surgery at the Medical College of Georgia. He has also completed a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at the Childrens Hospital of Cincinnati. Prior to that he trained extensively in the United Kingdom, completing his residency in Otolaryngology at Universiy Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.
Dr. Kumar’s particular interests include sleep apnea surgery, minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery and endoscopic sinus surgery. Throughout his career he has conducted extensive research and contributed numerous articles to medical journals.
